In depth

Verdict

In the opener, Oscatello gets the vote ahead of Hold The Bid and Lyon. Oscatello has looked progressive in winning two of his last three races and, certainly based on his second to the subsequent impressive winner Temoin two runs ago, looks to hold solid claims here. With his stable in good form now. Bobby Icata can be expected to go well, while Hold The Bid is surely better than his debut run suggested. Lyon's run behind Standin Obligation last April would bring him into things, while Sarahs Quay has at least shown that she can win a race, although that win came in a novice chase and equated to a mark of less than 80. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Oscatello.
