Verdict

Any strong support for point-to-point winner Kilcrea Vale could prove significant on his debut under Rules. A winning handicapper on the level, Novirak made a decent start over timber with a fourth at Doncaster and McCoy takes over the reins today but PYRSHAN is just preferred. The latter made the frame at Huntingdon on his hurdling bow when finishing ahead of a subsequent winner and gets a tentative vote on that form. Gioia Di Vita was only beaten a nose at Catterick last month and could also go close with any further progress while Deficit won over 2m on the Flat at Kempton in August and goes hurdling for the first time today.
