In depth

Verdict

Towering has now won twice over hurdles but that means he has to give 7lb to NUMBER ONE LONDON, which may prove beyond him. Tim Vaughan's gelding, an out-and-out stayer on the Flat, found 2m too sharp on his last run over timber having won over 2m6f at Newton Abbot earlier. Standing Ovation is probably a better chaser than Bandit Country so looks the pick of the remainder, though Star Of Salford is largely unexposed and could figure if staying the longer trip.
