In depth

Verdict

DUBAI ANGEL (NAP) should send favourite backers home happy as she was a real eye-catcher when second at Kelso last month in a race in which the all-the-way winner was given too much rope. The third is a good yardstick and suggests he should have the measure of Braavos, a little disappointing when a beaten favourite at Exeter in May following a second on debut at Stratford. The market will be the best guide for the others, though jockey bookings suggest Adman Sam is preferred to stablemate and fellow newcomer Swinton Diamond. Subordinate is best watched having his first run in almost two years.
