In depth

Verdict

WALKING IN THE AIR won at Wincanton in March and ran well on last month’s reappearance at Carlisle. Dan Skelton’s charge drops down a grade for this and is preferred to Cusheen Bridge, second over 3m here last time but a course and distance winner during the summer. Palm Grey won at Carlisle recently but makes less appeal carrying 7lb extra but Hedley Lamarr looks on a decent mark on his return to action. Mccabe Creek is usually thereabouts but is hard to win with and Preseli Rock has only won a maiden hurdle so far.
