Verdict

Swinging Sultan won with plenty to spare at Sedgefield last time, but Hi George was all out to hold off the attentions of previous winner Shotavodka when scoring at Doncaster. Both should be in the firing-line once again, but may find NEW YEAR'S EVE too good. The half-brother to winning chaser West With The Wind made a winning debut at Ludlow last month and John Ferguson's charge can follow-up here. The remainder with experience make no appeal, but The Carden Arms has a winning relative over hurdles and could prove best of the newcomers.
