Verdict

Godolphin would not have envisaged MOUNTAINSIDE, who is by Dubawi out of Coronation Stakes winner Maids Causeway, running in an early-season juvenile hurdle on his fourth career start. Things clearly haven't gone to plan and he's been gelded but John Ferguson and Aidan Coleman have been teaming up to good effect in novice events in recent weeks and should have another winner. Dominada overcame jumping errors to make a winning debut over timber at Uttoxeter and he can confirm that form with Fast Scat and Smugglers Lane. He's also preferred to stable companion Ace of Marmalade and French import Chic Name but Whisky Marmalade stayed well on the Flat so could figure.
