Verdict

Lake Legend has been in good form between the flags lately and is still a comparative youngster in chasing terms. Alan King clearly thinks he can hold his own in handicap company. Peachey Moment and Rackham Lerouge come here off the back of respective wins at Sedgefield and Fontwell but have to give weight to FORTY FIVE. The J P McManus-owned gelding has proved difficult to win with and didn't beat much at Hereford last week but did his job with the minimum of fuss and could easily defy the penalty here if in the same mood. Paul Webber's pair Edgbriar and Icy Colt are both useful on their day but Phare Isle is often let down by his jumping and this may be too tough for Iona Days while No Panic was due to run at Ffos Las last night.
