In depth

Verdict

Home She Goes and Young Buddy both won last time out but have stiffer assignments today and it may be worth siding with WILLANDRICH, who represents the in-form yard of Ian Williams. The eight-year-old won three races on the bounce over hurdles and fences in the summer of 2007 and made an encouraging return when a close fourth behind Victory Surge at Warwick last month so he may be worth siding with racing off just a 1lb higher mark today. Conor Dore's Satindra was well held on his return to hurdling at Southwell recently, while Lindseyfield Lodge fell in that same race and now looks best watched. Home She Goes is 6lbs higher than when scoring at Huntingdon last week and of more interest may be Young Buddy, who can race off the same mark as when landing a conditional jockeys' handicap at Newcastle on Wednesday. This may come too soon for Malcolm Jefferson's gelding though and a better bet may be Willandrich.
