Verdict

MASTERFUL ACT's last run over hurdles was in August 2013 and he hasn't pulled up any trees on the Flat this year. But he could still prove a cut above these given he ran the 134-rated Hazy Tom to under four lengths in a jumpers' bumper at Southwell in February. It's Oscar has had 17 runs over hurdles and is still seeking a first win but he's dropped a few more pounds since his latest second at Warwick so has place claims again. Mister Jones' fourth at Catterick was a big improvement and he's another to consider along with Kelso third Solstice Dawn but Blue Sea Of Ibrox is only a plater.
