After a cracking effort behind compatriot Dandy Boy over the C&D on opening night, Hujaylea didn't do so well over a mile last week though he wasn't too far behind Win For Sure. Mabait ran poorly on his debut here three weeks ago, trailing home behind Mendip in a Grade 3. He's much better than that and his stable have struck winning form. Quick Wit was a very progressive handicapper for Godolphin last year and appears to have got in here lightly. Frankie won't have been able to do the weight on the Godolphin colt, though he may have chosen Colonial anyway as the former Andre Fabre inmate made a fine debut behind Mendip here. SOLID CHOICE gets the nod as he ran well in Grade company here last year and made a very impressive return to action a fortnight ago when quickening off a slow pace to put the race to bed. Tybalt, a very good third from a wide draw, did well to get so close and should be in the mix.
