In depth

Verdict

Promising Run won in this grade on her reappearance a year ago then continued to race at a high level, including two runs at Listed class in the UK. She looks certain to go well but OPAL TIARA (NAP) ran a brilliant race to finish second in this a year ago before landing the Balanchine and a warm-up run a fortnight ago will have put her spot-on. Smiling Blue Eyes completed a hat-trick at Turffontein around this time a year ago but went off the boil later and could just need this. Rehana is a tough and consistent filly who ran very well in a handicap here two weeks ago and she has some strong form at a high level in Ireland while the ultra-consistent Absolute Blast has been out of the money just once in her last 13 starts.
