Verdict

The race title says it all about these though several have been in consistent form without quite getting there. Oriental Lilly is one of them and hasn't been beaten far in her last four races. Her best run was on good to soft at Thirsk so she can make her presence felt but SEE THE SUN (NAP) looks to have a good opportunity. Tim Easterby's charge has taken a massive drop in the ratings this year and it looked to have paid off when only headed in the final stride at Redcar on Wednesday. He comes here on a 4lb lower mark so should go one better. Vintage Dream is still a maiden and, though reasonably consistent, was beaten in a lower class handicap at Catterick last time but Olivia Fallow hasn't run in this lowly grade since 2015 and there was a slight spark at Ripon earlier this month.
