    Verdict

Dropped back to maiden company and now against her own sex Cute Ass has a great opportunity to get off the mark here, with Rio Rocket and Whispering Desert probably capable of making the frame. The Karl Burke-trained selection almost broke her duck when just held by Sinead Of Aglish at Windsor in June and her one susequent start saw her a four length fourth of eight in Sandown's Listed Dragon Stakes last month. Although that was not particularly special it represents comfortably the best form on offer here and a repeat should be good enough. Rio Rocket has gone quite well on both starts to date and is related to a number of juvenile winners at this trip. Now that the penny is starting to drop she can get closer this time. Whispering Desert has not yet been tried on a sound surface but her sire Distant Music acted well on it and so she may now be able to improve enough to take a serious hand in the finish. Lavande looks best of the rest but a win would be a surprise and the suggestion is that six of them will be watching a Cute Ass come home in front.
