        Verdict

        Detonate had one run in France and didn’t fare badly. Paper Promise was second to Heartasia, who runs in the opener, at Kelso last May but hasn’t been seen since. Lucinda Russell saddles two newcomers and both make plenty of appeal on breeding. Derek Fox rides Thepensionfund, who is a half-brother to two winning jumpers, but this track can suit speedier types and BLUE BATON is by Presenting out of a Milan mare and a full brother to a bumper winner. Reaplee is also worth a market check.
