        Verdict

        GASPARD is going the right way judged on his latest run at Pontefract. Headed in the final furlong, his third to Cosseted looks stronger form than the recent placed efforts of both Gambino and Hanalei Bay and David O'Meara's colt can open his account. Favourite Treat is an American-bred newcomer that cost 150,000gns as a two-year-old. Already gelded, he's preferred to fellow newcomer Sapphire Sky while Mowhoob looks best of the remainder.
