      Verdict

MY ARCH has been lightly raced over hurdles down the years but is no mean performer and won over 2m2f on the Flat at Pontefract over the summer. Last seen finishing in mid-division in the Cesarewitch, Ollie Pears' charge may well be good enough to land this. Bridlingtonbygones will be interesting in handicaps when eased a little in the weights, while Beat The Shower has enjoyed a successful season on the level and is still unexposed over timber. Alfie Flits has a touch of class but hasn't raced over hurdles since 2009 and The Starboard Bow may still be too high in the weights.
