In depth

Verdict

Ad Value arrives on the back of a C&D victory and looks likely to go close again despite a 6lb rise but another recent winner in LIGHT THE CITY is preferred. He finished well clear of the opposition over 1m4f at Catterick last week and, given he's scored twice before over today's distance, Ruth Carr's charge gets the nod to follow-up. Pokfulham still looks in the handicapper's grip but Grey Command could figure off his current mark judged on last year's two wins at Beverley while Mohawk Ridge can also be given a chance with a recent pipe-opener at Catterick under his belt.
