In depth

Verdict

Four course and distance winners line up here and only one of the rest, Cayman Fox, can be confidently opposed, so this looks a real puzzle. Fol Hollow makes some appeal on the back of a good fourth at Haydock having previously been in the doldrums but he'll face a battle for the lead and doesn't have the ideal draw, so we'll instead take a bit of a chance on LOOK BUSY. The mare has been a real servant to connections having earned over a quarter of a million pounds and although recent form figures don't inspire she is 13lbs lower than when fourth in a similar race in the spring, while ground conditions have also come in her favour and the yard are in decent form. Noodles Blue Boy and course specialist Rasaman need career-best performances to win so more of a threat could be Whozthecat who is 2lbs lower than when second behind Doric Lady at Newbury.
