Verdict

There was lots of confidence behind RUSHWEE on debut if the market is any guide and supporters can recoup their losses although the likelihood is that they will have to get involved at skinny prices. The half-brother to Kahuna got tapped for toe on debut and connections will presumably be keen to make more use of him here. Saveiro and Hillview Boy could emerge as the biggest dangers to Rushwee. Saveiro lost his rider in the very early stages on debut, where as a result of going a pedestrian early pace, Saveiro was anxious to get on with things and decanted his rider after pulling hard. Hillview Boy indicated some ability on debut while Vincent Pipe was the subject of very strong support on debut but looked to do far too much in the early stages. Rushwee is nominated to send punters home happy.
