Verdict

Course and distance winner Kings Point is temptingly handicapped now some 25lb below his last winning mark but he failed to justify strong support at Thirsk and remains opposable. We'll take him on with NOLECCE, who represents last year's winning trainer Richard Guest. The three-year-old got off the mark at the seventh time of asking last time and this step back to seven furlongs is unlikely to pose a problem, so we're keen to keep him on side now he's shown an aptitude for victory. Similar comments apply to Mrs Mogg who showed she gets the trip at Lingfield but this is an entirely different test and she looks far from straightforward, while Klynch will find this tougher than when held last time and Luv U Noo looks held by the assessor.
