Verdict

The step back up in trip will suit winning hurdler DEEPSAND and he looks the best handicapped horse in this. He's been keeping decent company of late but so has Sir Frank Morgan, who finished ahead of the selection at Ripon last month though is worse off at the weights here and having his 20th start of the campaign. The latter was also beaten by Pass Muster over course and distance in April when receiving weight so that brings Philip Kirby's charge into the equation. The consistent Aleksandar looks the pick of the remainder ahead of Jan Smuts.
