Verdict

Alabanda takes a big step up in distance after two runs over 5f and may be vulnerable against the less exposed BADEA. Despite showing signs of inexperience, Richard Fahey's colt stayed on nicely when fourth on his debut over 6f at Haydock and will appreciate the extra here. Maastricht was placed at Newcastle last month but just as interesting is newcomer Marching On, who is from the same family as a smart performer in the States. Sound Advice may prove the pick of Keith Dalgleish's pair.
