In depth

Verdict

John Williams has a decent record here and bid for a hat-trick, though both recent victories have come over 2m. An Laoch deserves a change of luck but is taking on more experienced chasers here. Doktor Glaz is still edging up the weights, despite not winning, so we’ll take a chance on the returning SHANROE STREET. Just beaten off a higher mark here in March, he then ran a cracker in the Highland National at Perth and still has plenty of scope. Havana Jack and Nicki's Nipper are both capable but hard to catch right.
