MISS KECK has shown enough ability in three starts to suggest that she can come good with a win here, while Red Onion and Alvarado are others respected. The selection clearly has more racecourse experience than her rivals and has hit the frame on three occasions. The slightly slower ground here will probably help in that it will bring her stamina into play and she can take advantage. Red Onion would have to be a danger after a decent Newcastle debut in soft ground, when he was well supported. He may well be on a compensation mission here. Alvarado represents powerful connections although he cost little. His pedigree suggests that he will handle cut well and he will be a nice staying chaser in time, but he can show up well today too. Baron Watlass is perhaps the most interesting of the other debutants but we will give Miss Keck one more chance to shine.
