      Verdict

BURNING THREAD ended a two-year barren spell in style when dotting up at Bath a week ago. Tim Etherington's charge can shrug off a penalty and follow-up in his current mood. Hamilton winner Imperial Legend reversed earlier form with the disappointing favourite, Red Baron, when second at Haydock last Friday and the latter had earlier beaten Findog, The Nifty Fox and Crimson Knot at this track. Go Go Green dead-heated for first in a Catterick seller back in April but has been beaten at Thirsk since.
