RALEIGH QUAY gets on well with today's apprentice and, after a couple of placed efforts, got his head in front at Hamilton last month. This longer trip is no problem and he's taken to continue winning ways. Royal Straight also scored on his latest start over 1m2f at Ayr though he faded quickly in the closing stages over C&D before that and has something to prove now but winning hurdler Houston Dynimo returned to the Flat with a good effort at Haydock in May and he should figure. Pinotage still looks high enough in the weights but Cadore and Ravi River were both placed off higher marks last season and make more appeal on that basis.
