        Verdict

        Thunder Buddy makes appeal on this handicap debut in a first-time visor after showing the first real shards of promise in novice company last time. This is a far from demanding task and he should deliver a better display off this initial handicap mark. TWILIGHT boasted similar credentials prior to revealing improvement at Thirsk when a solid third in a 7f fillies' handicap and should be well suited by this extra furlong judged by her finishing effort that day. Cascella came home sixth in that contest on just a second start for the O'Meara team an is another expected to improve with time and distance. Song Of Summer is more experienced and exposed but should go well if able to rediscover the best of her juvenile form.
