Verdict

Dubawi Fifty may need the run in a contest where each contender has either a course or distance win beside their name. SEBASTIAN'S WISH (NAP) seems to have been transformed by the move to Keith Dalgleish, landing a hat-trick before finishing a meritorious third when upped significantly in grade here last time. He is now 25lb higher than when scoring for the stable during the winter but that latest run still suggests he remains on the upgrade. Stoneham was well beaten by a fast-improving three-year-old last time but this consistent performer faces no such opposition here and should be thereabouts. Wor Lass is searching for form at present, Jan Smuts looks held and therefore recent runner-up Stormin Tom is next best.
