Lil Sophella is 9lb higher than when winning last year’s renewal and Marsh Pride is upped a grade after beating Lincoln Rocks, Quick N Quirky and Forever A Lady over track and trip. Lincoln Rocks had earlier finished ahead of Dark Intention when scoring at Hamilton while Drifting Spirit has yet to hit top form this year. But the latter’s stablemate INVERMERE (NAP) has been thereabouts at this level of late and the Fahey filly may prove good enough today after a close-up fourth over course and distance. Alexandrakollontai has yet to win over this far and Al Shahaniya remains 8lb higher than her earlier win at Carlisle.
