    Verdict

Philip Kirby saddles three of the seven declared runners in this and all are previous course winners. Discay has his first run for the yard and Triple Eight steps up a couple of grades so Pass Muster may be the pick on this occasion, though he looks held by SISYPHUS (NAP) on their run together here over 2m last month. Oliie Pears' gelding beat a subsequent winner on that occasion and can be forgiven his run at York next time. Osaruveetil has few miles on the clock and is probably better than he showed when favourite on his reappearance at Thirsk. Wor Lass rattled up a six-timer in July and August but was rated 23lb lower at this time last year and Dominada still looks too high in the weights.
