Verdict

William Haggas sent last year’s winner up from Newmarket and MAYAAS is the one to beat in this. Rated 88 having ran well in a couple of handicaps at York and Doncaster, the latter should have the measure of these partnered by Ryan Moore on a rare visit to this venue. Bois De Norton showed a big improvement to place at Leicester last time and can figure again while Party Rebel looks a likely improver stepping up in trip having debuted over 6f at Catterick but the remainder are harder to recommend.
