Verdict

Sheena West does well with her small string and we will take her runner HIGH BIRD HUMPHREY to get the better of Cybora and Bright Sparky. The selection was far from disgraced when last seen out at Cheltenham when he finished fifth behind Zafranager. The race was not run to suit that day and if he gets the strong gallop that he needs here then he could be a big player. Cybora looked in need of the run at Haydock last month so he should strip fitter today. Ferdy Murphy won this race last year but his 7-year-old will not find this drop in trip ideal and on that basis she is passed over. Bright Sparky hails from a shrewd yard and he is back on a fair mark, but he lacks consistency and he ran no sort of race at Hexham earlier in the month when he was toiling from a long way out. Little Bob could be of interest on his chasing bow but he does have an absence to overcome so the market may well be a guide to his chance. Fred Bojangals has won both of his races over fences at Sedgefield and he looks to have a little to find with some of these. We will stick with High Bird Humphrey to fly home to victory.
