In depth

Verdict

Fastidious likes a bit of give in the ground as she showed at Leopardstown and a 9lb rise won't help. Flic Flac is running well without quite getting there and looks a few pounds high while the veteran Collingwood, though going well at Dundalk, was never in the hunt in this a year ago. WINNING IMPACT went up too much for landing a Curragh handicap last July and has struggled but now looks on a winnable mark and he ran much better than his final position suggests at the Curragh last time as he was impeded when beginning his run. He can return to winning ways though the winner of that event, Slipper Orchid, is a progressive type who should get involved again.
