In depth

Verdict

The veteran Doonard Prince, three-times a winner here, bounced back to form on the track last week and it wouldn't be a shock to see him go in again. Ever Rock is on the basement mark but made a pleasing comeback at Down Royal so has to be respected. Darkdeserthighway was a 66/1 chance when scoring here last week but it wasn't a fluke and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run. Pretty Smart is consistent enough at this level while the maiden FINE DISTRACTION was staying on strongly over 5f at Tipperary during the week and gets the nod in a tricky handicap. Pillar and On Tick were engaged in the 7.00 at Bellewstown last night.
