In depth

Verdict

INSCRIBE has joined Ger Lyons from the Stoute camp and was impressive when landing a Gowran handicap on testing ground. He's been hit with a 9lb rise but gets the nod in a tricky handicap. Slaney Street has been left on the same mark despite being runner-up to the gambled on Wonder Laish at Leopardstown last Saturday so expect another big run while Rickrack had been threatening to win for a while before doing so at Cork though he's another hit hard by the assessor. The last remark also applies to Lucky Mistake after his Leopardstown victory but Excelli has more to do than when runner-up at Navan though heavy ground would aid his cause. The Last Indian found 1m4f stretching his stamina after completing a hat-trick over shorter and though up another 2lb should get competitive again.
