For The Staff last won a race over hurdles at Wexford in 2009. That was over three miles and both recent starts over fences have been over much further than today's trip. Jaffonnien has had very little racing but looked the type to improve when runner-up to Tawaagg at Gowran last month when Kilflora and Like Your Style were behind though a slightly longer trip may be more to his liking. Dual point-to-point winner Spot The Boss showed promise in bumpers and should be at home over fences but Dessie Hughes looks to have found a race for SHIRLEY CASPER at last. A very useful hurdler with a Grade 3 to her credit, she has been a big disappointment over fences to date but her overall form is the best on offer here and she can get off the mark on her sixth start over the bigger obstacles.
