Art Of Payroll didn't have much hope of conceding lumps of weight to Florishwells D'Ete at Fairyhouse but ran well and the remainder were a long way behind. Blood Cotil's close second to Gilgamboa here is the best form on view and he hasn't been beaten far in subsequent races though looks as though a longer trip will suit. Tavern Times makes his chasing debut at an advanced age and hasn't been seen since landing a Grade 3 over hurdles in October 2011 but along with Rossvoss, another with a long absence to overcome, could prove useful with a run under his belt. GILT SHADOW (NAP) had a year off before making his chasing debut at Navan last month and would have easily beaten the useful Apache Jack but for a last-fence fall. Hopefully it won't have affected his confidence and he can make amends.
