In depth

Verdict

Camelback made an eye-catching debut at Leopardstown and won with a bit in hand on a return visit when just getting up to catch New To Town with Medal Of Honour 3l back in third. The latter then chased home Rostropovich at Gowran and was only beaten a head so collateral form points to Ger Lyons' charge holding the advantage. Aidan O'Brien also trains The Pentagon, who was beaten a long way behind the impressive Verbal Dexterity at the Curragh and the winner's handler, Jim Bolger, has STRIKE FOR FREEDOM engaged here. He looked in need of an extra furlong when staying on to score over 6f at the Curragh and can take this before heading for better things.
