Atlantic Shore was bidding for a hat-trick in the 4.30 at Navan yesterday so that result should be monitored. Willie Mullins has three entries and Class Conti was placed in the Thyestes at Gowran for the second successive year in January, though a 2lb rise won't aid his cause. Stable companion SATURNAS wasn't far behind in the Thyestes and, as that was only his third start since beaten a neck in the 2018 Kerry National at Listowel, must have a chance of reversing the form. Another from the yard, Blazer, is 1-13 over fences but has always performed at a very high level and has been given a chance by the assessor though Mark Walsh has chosen Ten Ten of the J P McManus runners. Scoir Mear is another who generally races in strong company and wasn't beaten far in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown last month while Rocky's Silver was racing over a trip much too short when narrowly beaten at Thurles, though could have done without a 3lb rise. Best Behavior's jumping leaves plenty to be desired though a couple of runs over hurdles may have sharpened him up.
