Verdict

There is no entry from the O'Brien camp here but Michael Tabor has a very interesting runner in Compelling, a son of Kingmambo out of the very speedy Damson, who won the Queen Mary and Phoenix Stakes. Vasoni looked promising when a good third to Look At Me at Fairyhouse before unshipping her rider at the start at Sligo. Vastitas has been very unfortunate to come up against three Ballydoyle winners and Jim Bolger fits him with blinkers today. He looks certain to be there at the finish but Dermot Weld has struck form with his juveniles and FLIC FLAC, who ran on the opening day of the season at the Curragh and didn't reappear until an excellent run behind Stage Master there last month, can continue the stable's fine run.
