In depth

Verdict

BRONTIDE never threatened the winner when runner-up at Leopardstown on his recent debut but it was a promising start nonetheless and this shorter trip should suit. Jim Bolger's colt is preferred to Listowel third Leath Na Hoibre, who wears the same colours for a different trainer. Al Qahwa cost 130,000 euros and is a half-brother to a couple of winners. The Godolphin charge is worth noting in the betting ahead of Fair Game and Dilly Daydream, who made only modest debuts.
