Verdict

Joseph O’Brien runs four with Band of Outlaws preferred on his course and distance success in November. Stable companions Bachelor and Palace Guard have both won the all-weather this year while Verhoyen won a maiden race at Dundalk recently. Palariva is another with a run under her belt having been placed over a mile at Dundalk and London Icon ended last year with a cosy maiden success over a longer trip here. Solar Wave remains 5lb higher than her win at Fairyhouse in September but Richard Fahey will likely have CROWNTHORPE raring to go for this nice prize and he gets the vote having shown progressive form last season and been gelded over the winter.
