MINELLA FAIR was having his first start in a year when runner-up to Magic Of Light over this track and trip last month and though the winner has subsequently been beaten at Listed level the form looks strong enough for this. Ken's Well didn't show much between the flags but attracted some support on his bumper debut at Thurles in October and found only L'andana too strong. Soul Kaliber finished runner-up in a point in May of last year but didn't reappear until last month when fourth over hurdles at Fairyhouse. Jamie Codd's presence on board Colwinston suggests his mount is expected to do much better than he showed at Ballinrobe last time while Mags Mullins generally has a few nice bumpers and Dr Wallace is related to a couple of winners.
