Verdict

Wicklow Gold started 20/1 on his opening run and didn't show much so is overlooked despite his connections. Jimmy Lambe's horses are in good form so Ayr runner-up Ballybogey is respected. Our Cobajay hasn't been beaten far in his last two starts but Red Admirable should do better over jumps so it's the newcomer BENEMEADE who looks the one to be on. He's a brother to a winning hurdler and half-brother to a bumper winner and his trainer has introduced several winning newcomers in this sphere already this season.
