Verdict

CANDY APPLES gave supporters of the long odds-on Michaelmas a fright at the Curragh last month and with further progress virtually guaranteed he's the one to be on here. The winner is trained by Aidan O'Brien who has Wilshire Boulevard entered here. The son of Holy Roman Emperor failed by a short-head to catch Muscle Beach over this track and trip last Saturday and is an obvious threat. Gone Viral should be picking up a small race soon but meets a couple of potentially useful rivals.
