Verdict

Nightly Wailing has hardly beaten a horse home in three starts and has a mountain to climb on official ratings which suggest Discovery Lad has the call at the weights though Johnny Murtagh's charge never looked likely to land a blow when earning this mark in a Naas maiden. Buffalo Blues showed some promise in his first season but has been well beaten in two starts at Leopardstown this term so it's TENTH AMENDMENT who gets the vote after a fair run in a similar event at Ballinrobe, especially with Pat Smullen booked to ride for the first time. Future Frontier produces the occasional decent effort but is 0-18 which tells its own story.
