Noel Meade has a strong hand here with Art Of Synergy, who showed marked improvement on his latest start in March when runner-up in a big field at Fairyhouse, and Gettysburg Address, a winning bumper who has shown real potential in two starts over timber and will improve again. Useful bumper Winsome Bucks started favourite on his hurdling debut at Bellewstown but found three miles taxing his stamina while Black Key made a very encouraging debut over hurdles on this track then ran a fine race behind the useful Montalbano at Leopardstown. The latter looks a threat to all though compensation awaits for those who made C'EST JERSEY a long odds-on chance at Fairyhouse. Willie Mullins' charge, who had made an excellent start for the yard behind the very useful Any Second Now over today's track and trip, made too many mistakes on his next start and was behind runner-up Gettysburg Address but a better round of jumping can see him take revenge.
