Despite a huge field, few of these arrive in any sort of form. Court Adjourned won a point-to-point at Broughshane in May but the runner-up was beaten a distance on his hurdling debut. Allenstown Kid showed a bit of promise on his hurdling bow here in January then failed to stay three miles at Naas in May while Redrobin was weakening when falling at Down Royal last month though that was his first start since 2014. ROGUE AGENT won twice on the Flat in France and has started favourite in both runs over timber for new connections. He was in touch for a long way over 2m4f at Down Royal last time and this could be his day. Winning bumper Tamlough Boy has experience over timber having finished fourth in a big field at Gowran before reverting to bumpers and running moderately. He could provide the main threat though Venezia won a couple of races on the level and the son of Galileo is one to note on his hurdling bow.
