Verdict

Bobarlee is Willie Mullins' only runner at the meeting but it's difficult to get excited about her after a very poor run at Clonmel earlier this month. Ballylumford showed a bit more promise at Down Royal when staying on while winning point-to-pointer Canadian Steel made a bold bid to lead all over 2m2f at Downpatrick and was only caught in the closing stages. SIZING ALBERTA pulled up in his only start between the flags but it was a different story when he made his debut in a bumper at the Galway Festival where he was always in the front rank and stayed on nicely to finish a close third to First Figaro. With more progress to come, he can take this and cap a good day for Henry De Bromhead.
